A rare pair of art deco square formed vases by Ricardia Ware stidio pottery. Ricardia Ware pottery was made in the Recesso department at Richards Tiles Pinnox works of Tunstall Stoke On Trent during the 1930s. These vases are of a square tapering shape with a round opening at the top sreaming art deco. They have a mottled running thick glaze of mustard, yellows and light greens. Measuring 200 mm / 8 inches in height and 90 mm / 3.5 inches square at the shoulders. One in excellent condition no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs the other just a small bit of glaze missing, done in the manufacture, as shown in photo 6. Marked as photos 4 and 5.
