Description
Hello. Bidding on a great pair of porcelain decorator Asian Blanc de Chine lamps. Latticed ginger jar forms with Japanese or Chinese motifs. Both sit on wooden pedestals, and have half dome wooden caps. Triangular harps and decorative finials. Not sure of age, but do not appear to be too new based on the electrical cords and the foil label. Retains foil labels marked Fine Seyei China, Naboya Japan. The wooden bases are slightly different from each other, but hard to pick up the differences. The bases may have been a later addition, but I'm not sure. The bulb housings are different from each other. The lamps are in working condition. No shades. Size & Condition Size: Bases: 16" tall to bottom of bulb housing x 7" w. 27" tall to top of finials. In overall very good condition. The ceramics are in great shape, as well as the other parts. Shipping & Handling Shipping and handling would be $40 in the continental US. Policies. PLEASE NOTE: USPS no longer offers the cheaper international surface shipping option, only global airmail. If you have a shipping preference, please let us know prior to us invoicing you, and we will work to accomodate your request. PLEASE NOTE: We will apply full insurance to the shipment, but will not take responsibility for any lost or damaged item. We will file a damage claim on your behalf, but will not be held responsible for the outcome of the claim. We have packed items for years, and know how to do it correctly, but shipping accidents occasionally occur no matter what precautions are taken, especially with glass or fragile items. Please note our policy as a stipulation for bidding. Also note: because of increased volume, please allow up to 2 weeks from payment for delivery. Also Note: No refund will be given, partial or full, unless an item has been significantly misrepresented. The items we deal in are vintage by nature, and commonly have the type of wear that you would associate with a vintage piece that has seen typical use over the years, including, but not limited to: light scratching, scuffing, minor edge bruising, some light finish wear.
