A Pair of Old Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Small Bowl A Pair of Old Chinese Famille Rose Small Bowl. On the surface it was painted with flute, fan, calabash and basket. They are four of the eight weapons of the legend Eight Immortals in Chinese history. It is said that these weapons are all powerful to kill evil things. Inside the bowl there are two characters yong ji , which shows the origin of the bowl. At the bottom there's a mark showing the age of the bowl. The painting is very vivid. The bright is bright. The condition is old but very good. Famille rose making uses both traditional craft and enamel technique, painting design with colors on white ground. The famille rose often has gentle luster with delicate changes. In Yongzheng period, the famille rose porcelain has the most beautiful color. In Qianglong reign, the color met the best shape. Then it became the mainstream of caici in the Qing dynasty. Dia. of bowl: 11.6 cm (4.57 in), Height of bowl: 6.5 cm (2.56 in) Condition is old but almost in good condition.
