for auction is a wonderful pair of vintage mid-century danish adjustable lounge chairs by Kofod-Larsen. these beautiful and handsome chairs are mid-century classics. the high-back walnut frames have just the right danish modern aesthetic and have very nice details. they have newly upholstered cushions with a very nice nubby off-white fabric with 3 buttons just w the cushions start to get thicker as a headrest. the seat frames actually are hinged w the seat meets the back, and t is a small lever down low on the side that releases them to slide and recline, when you release the lever it locks the seats into the new position. very nice feature and they work perfectly and smoothly. the frames are in good vintage condition with light wear overall. truly a very nice pair of vintage lounge chairs. quite comfortable. please feel free to e-mail with any questions. Dimensions: 38"H, 29"W, 28"d, seats are 23"D if you happen to be close enough to providence, rhode island, we always welcome local pickups at our 5000 sq' ft. shop. see our 'about me' page for details and location. SHIPPING : for large items such as this....t are several options: DELIVERY...... we can deliver these chairs within 350 miles or so, although we sometimes can go farther depending upon the timing. we cover all areas of new england, and often go as far as washington dc or out to western ny state. this is almost always less expensive than a commercial shipper would charge for the same distance. ....examples: nyc would be 150, boston 65. feel free to e-mail us with your zip code to see if we can deliver this to you and what the charge would be. SHIPPING: .... for those outside of our delivery area, you will have to use a commercial shipper, as these are too large to be packaged and sent by UPS or DHL. t are any number of shippers that make it very easy for ebay customers. often you can get a shipping quote just by giving them the ebay item number and the pickup (02904) and delivery zip codes. t are several shippers that we use often and recommend. these are: AC Delivers Craters & Freighters Plycon VanLines you can contact them directly and give them the information about the item and the pickup and delivery zip codes (ours is 02904) and they usually get back to you the following day with a shipping quote. if you win the item and decide to use them, you just contact them after the auction has ended to make payment arrangements for the shipping. then they contact us to schedule the pickup and deliver the item to your door. quite easy and straightforward. the time frames for shipping can vary somewhat so be sure to ask each shipper for their estimate of the timing as well.
