This pair is done in solid TEAK with original KNOLL upholstery and dated 1967. The wood structure is very sleek and sturdy with a wonderful patina. This set is a larger than typical version of the danish mod lounge chair that is all over Ebay. These have a gorgeous silhouette and can stand alone in the middle of any room. The back is just as good looking as the front! A PERFECT ADDITION TO YOUR COOL MID CENTURY PAD!The chairs measure:28 1/2" wide30" deep33" high17" seat height22" seat depth The condition is good vintage. The frame is sturdy and in perfect condition. The seat cushions and straps are dry and brittle and will have to be replaced. The fabric is not ripped so it should be possible for your upholsterer to just remove the straps and cushion from the bottom and replace that while leaving the fabric intact. You could probably even do this yourself. The back cushions seem to be usable. As with all vintage upholstered pieces, you will want to have them steam cleaned. Should you decide to change the fabric to suit your decor, it should be a relatively inexpensive re-do keeping in mind that you are only doing the cushions, not the entire chair. PayPal only please.
