Eminence describe the LEGEND 1028K driver as Vintage alnico with seamed cone tonality for guitar. The 1028K is an ideal Vintage alnico Jensen replacement. The LEGEND 1028K is a very bluesy speaker with lots of sparkle, definition, and percussive characteristics. This Eminence guitar speaker has been developed for the guitarist that plays Blues, Country, Rock. These are very nearly new speakers, I fitted them briefly to a Blues DeVille, that amp has now been sold and I put the original speakers I had in it back in. They have a couple of hours of domestic play on them but not any at gigging volume. They have that snappy definition that you would expect from them - I no longer have an amp with 10" speakers so they are surplus to requirement. There are little marks on the paint where the mounting bolts were. The original Eminence boxes are not great and are actually little shallow for the speakers - I will make sure they are well packed for transit.
