An Asian antique lover is going to downsize his collection here which has been built up for the past twenty years. Over the next couple of weeks I will be listing some very fine and rare items from my collection. All the items will be starting off low, and most of them are with NO reserve. Quite frankly I am not making money on a lot of items but this is part of the fun of antiques collection. Up for auction here is a fine pair of Famille Rose cover box, cylindrical in shape, well painted with bamboo and flowering branches in tones of pink, tellow and green; with doomed cover and peach finial. Tongzhi mark and of the period.

Both the cover box measure 15cm in height and 12cm in diameter. Condition is excellent. No restorations, No hairlines. No cracks. Just some wearing on the edges & some minor scratches on the surface consistent with age. A perfect addition to any Chinese porcelain lover. Don't miss this chance to be its new owner!
