For your consideration is a: PAIR OF 2 ANTIQUE FRENCH TABLES~ GILDED BLACK~ COFFEE TABLE WITH BUTLER TRAY AND SIDE TABLE Makers Mark: T is a V in a circle and a number on the coffee table Age: circa 1920 Features & Condition: These tables have been professionally painted a glossy black, brushed with gold and sealed with a hand-rubbed rosewood oil. Their style is spectacular! The coffee table is a bit sturdier but both are steady and very functional for use and display. The table tops are made from solid mahogany tongue-in-groove boards which now show spaces between the grooves-typical for a gracefully aging well-made piece. Brass claw feet. The coffee table has an elegant glass butlers tray. Some minor scratches on glass. The tray fits over the table and is removable and useful for serving appetizers or drinks.
