Authentic Maritime presents this genuine GIAGANTIC PAIR of PERKO SOLID BRASS Red and Green Electrified Ship's Running Lights. ***NO RESERVE!*** I searched for 7 years to come up with this set! They are fitted with new lenses and sockets. This is a wonderful, perfectly MATCHED PAIR of PERKO ship's running lights. They were made between 1962 and 1976 in Miami, Florida (Tags state, "PERKO Manufacturers Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware Corp, Miami, Florida USA). Dimensions are 14" tall (16" with top) by 12" in diameter. The pictures speak for themselves! Lanterns were originally polished brass and laquered, it appears. They weigh over 15 pounds EACH and are solid brass. T are some seagoing dings in the green lantern at the top. The red lantern has a dent in the back. These "working wounds" give the lanterns a nautical feel. Authentic heavy bronze Perko lids with new gaskets screw on flawlessly. These marine lanterns have taken on a nice patina from the salt of the seas. The HEAVY FRESNEL GLASS lenses are made of VERY THICK GLASS and are in great condition with no cracks and only a few small chips on the outer rib edges of the green lens. The RED lens is PERFECT! The GREEN lens is actually azure. I have never seen a more beautiful colored lens on a maritime lantern! Both lenses are marked (molded) "PERKO." Wired for 110V service with new sockets and 3 foot long cords. The cords are steel shielded marine grade with brass plugs and watertight screw caps. These ship's running lights most certainly have "sailed the seven seas!" Overall these lanterns are in wonderful condition and ready to display. Terrific for the collector! Also included are 2 SOLID BRONZE Pauluhn NY heavy marine sockets which the marine plugs screw onto for watertight integrity. Each of these sockets weighs over 4 pounds and retails for over $150 each! These lanterns could be used w watertight integrity is required! The overall weight of this package will be about 45 pounds! FREE shipping to the continental U.S. Don't miss out on these!
