This is a wonderful pair of hand painted Francis Higgins glass plaque Roosters. Francis drew the rooster and the chicken but the signature is Michaels. These are actually drawn by Francis and not silk screened at the Dearborn Glass Co. This info came from Louise at Higgins Glass. Signatures are etched in as per the photos. The dimensions are 7.125" by 14.125" and have no damage to the glass. They are in excellent condition. What is unique to these plaques is that they have hangers on the top and bottom. No info as to why said Louise from Higgins Glass. Perhaps they were to be hung one on top of the other or in conjunction with other plaques. The last photo is one of the back side of the plaques at an angle. It appears to be cloudy because of the angle of the photo but is clear when looked at straight on.Email me with any questions. Shipping will be $20.00 USPS plus insurance based on the final selling price. Thanks for looking and good luck. Regarding the last photo - it is cloudy on the back side and NOT clear when looked at from straight on. Thanks.
