France. The surfaces and rims of the flattened baluster shaped urns are decorated with elaborate raised rocaille and foliate scrolls and stylized animal head handles. The reserves are painted with floral sprays to one side and Biblical scenes to the other. The urns are bolted to conformingly shaped bases which are not visibly marked. Price Comparison: $300-400 in Fine Art & Antiques Gallery. Dimensions: Each: 9-7/8" High, 5-3/4" Wide, 3-1/2" Deep. Total Weight: 3.25lbs. Condition: The narrow feet/bases of each urn (the top of each bolted stand) have been broken and repaired/overpainted. T is some rubbing/wear to the gilding along the surface, handles and rims on each piece. T is a glaze imperfection (dark spot) along the top rim of one urn. T is some dirt/dust to the interiors and underside of each base. Otherwise, the pieces are in good condition.
