This is a pair of cloth handcrafted Downeast Maine dolls depicting two blueberry rakers. They are approximately 12" tall overall...each is standing on a simple pine wooden base and is holding a galvanized pail which looks to be heaping with blueberries...and in the other hand each has a silver painted wooden blueberry rake also with some blueberries in it. "Washington County" is printed on the rakes and "Maine" is on the pails. Their facial features are hand drawn on with ink. Each has its original tag ..."Creations Anew Working People of Maine" on the front side and the other side explaining how each doll is made from recycled clothing. These are for collecting and displaying..not recommended for children. The doll with the blue stripe jersey and blue jeans has a yellow headband holding down hair made from a bit of real fur. The other doll had a striped jersey shirt and long baggy pants in earthy toned wide stripes and it wearing a khaki canvas sun hat. Cut as can be..or as they would say here in downeast blueberry land...pretty cunnin'.... Purchaser prepays for item before shipping. All shipping fees will be paid by the buyer.
