Hello. Bidding on an outstanding pair of wooden, French inspired Art Deco or Hollywood Regency style lounge chairs. Expressive low proportioned, curved cane back chairs with a white leather? seat with brass nails. Front legs have brass upper rings and small brass foot sleeves. Nicely curved and rounded back legs. Not marked. You sit a little lower than normal lounge chairs but are still comfortable.
Size: 23.5" wide x 25" deep x 28" tall each. Seat top is 13" tall. In overall good vintage condition. The cane is in great shape with no splits. Has some general wear and a couple of noticeable scratches to the frame. T is some spotting to the finish in areas of the frame. Presents well as is, but may want to refinish if desiring a perfect or different color. The seat covers, again I think are leather, but I have never been good at distinguishing from high grade vinyl. One seat has a little more of brighter sheen than the other. Some wear to the covers, as in cracking and light discoloration. May like the look of it as is, or may want to replace. Please note all condition remarks when bidding. If you choose to have us ship for you, S&H would be $180 in the continental US. Would prefer Greyhound shipping, but DHL Ground may be an option . They will also deliver door to door in some cities. Please call your local Greyhound Package Xpress if this is something you are interested in, and if it is an option in your location. Otherwise, you will need to pick it up at the terminal. PLEASE NOTE: the downside to shipping with Greyhound is they will only insure an item for up to $300. Please, specify which service (DHL or Greyhound) you desire if you have us ship the item. If an item is over 100lbs or is very large, you will need to arrange for your own shipping. We would recommend Plycon. You can get a quote online from their website. You can also shop competitive quotes at . We generally encourage you to arrange for your own preference of shipping, notably blanket wrapped freight or professional pack and ship, as this has proven to be the safest and most reliable delivery method. We understand that it is also not the most economical, but if it is an item of significant value, we would encourage you to go the extra expense to have it packed and shipped professionally. PLEASE NOTE: if you decide to have us ship, we will apply insurance to the shipment w applicable, but will not take any responsibility for any lost or damaged items. We will file a damage claim on your behalf, but will not be held responsible for the outcome of the claim. We have packed furniture for years, and know how to do it correctly, but shipping accidents occasionally occur no matter what precautions are taken, especially with glass or marble items. In some instances shippers will not insure glass or marble items, so please note this when bidding. We would strongly recommend that any item with fragile materials be shipped with a professional packing service or freight company. Please note our shipping policies as a stipulation for bidding. Also note: because of increased volume, please allow @ 2-3 weeks from payment for delivery. Also Note: No refund will be given, partial or full, unless an item has been significantly misrepresented.
