is a fantastic pair of vintage side chairs with what I believe may be their original upholstery. The wood on these chairs are beautiful . Not sure of the type of wood. Most striking is the shoulder line! Would be marvelous companions in a room with Biedermeier furniture. Dimension wise - these are slightly oversized to most vanity or desk chairs of this style which gives them more presence along side a credenza, console or in association to other pieces of furniture. Label on under side reads Charlotte Chair Company, Charlotte Michigan. Due to their age the upholstery on one of the chairs shows a slight bit more wear and on the back side of the same chair some fading as seen in the photos. These are excellent candidates for reupholstery as their batting and springs are in great condition. If you don't mind the few fabric flaws they could be used as is in the right placement. Each Measures approx.: 36" tall at back, 21" wide at seat, 23" straight across the front of shoulders, 24" deep and 18" floor to seat cushion.
