Present here is a matching pair of large antique, cast iron Victorian shelf brackets, in excellent, used condition. They are a bit heavy, and quite strong, and could bear much weight. They might be designed for holding a sink. Each is molded on both sides, with the same motif. There are no cracks or breaks, but most of the original black paint is gone, and there is light rust. The brackets measure 17" x 19" and weigh about 11 and 3/4 pounds. The spine is 2" wide. Each side has numerous holes for attaching screws.
