This sale is for a pair of Marblehead Pottery Candlesticks in Marblehead Blue Matte Glaze. The Candlesticks are beautiful! The pair is about 4-1/2" tall. The top of the Candlesticks are 2-1/8" in diameter, with an opening of about 5/8" to hold your candles. There is an ring design located about 1-1/4" below the top of the Candlesticks. The Candlesticks flare out to a bottom measurement of about 4-5/8". The shape is beautiful. Both of the Candlesticks are marked with the Marblehead incised ship mark, and one of the Candlesticks still has the original yellow mustard colored paper label. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs on this pair. However, one of the Candlesticks is missing a piece of pottery on the inside which would have helped support the Candlesticks (see photo). This could have been something that happened in the manufacturing process. I do not know. Also there is one very tiny dot size mark of missing glaze color on the bottom of the Candlestick. It is not a chip. Please be advised that the items I love and sell are vintage and therefore have had a previous history where the items were used. I will explain all the defects that I see, but I may miss a minor defect.
