*** Pair Newcomb Mono 6V6 Tube Amps Amplifiers *** Here we have a working pair of vintage Newcomb ED-10 single ended tube amps using one 6X4 rectifier tube, one 6AV6 preamp tube, and one 6V6 power tube. Capacitors have been properly reformed (zero hum) and a few replacement components to bring amps back to schematic specs. New 3-prong grounded power cords. Input is a top mounted RCA jack and 8-Ohm output is a rear mounted RCA jack. About 3 to 4 watts each and includes schematic. Individual volume, tone, and power switch. Slab pine base. NOTE: A 6AV6 preamp tube is a 7-pin triode electronically identical to 1/2 of a 12AX7 with a gain of 100. Thank you for looking! I just located two 6AV6 tube shields along with a spare pair of Mullard 6AV6 tube that I will include with these amps. BONUS TUBES #2: I will include not only the Mullard 6AV6 pair and tube shields as mentioned above (bonus #1), but will also include another pair of Sylvania 6AV6’s in boxes, one GE 6X4 in box, two very nice Sylvania 6V6 power tubes, and the original Newcomb emblems.
