WE ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS THROUGH PAYPAL. Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Our opening bid is our reserve. Victorian Furniture. Price is for the pair. Beautiful pair of matching Victorian period chairs. Rococo Revival. These date to the 1860-1880 time period. I believe they are walnut. The finish is old, probably original, and in good shape. American or French. Beautiful carved. Wonderful form on this matching pair. Shapely cabriole legs. Spiral barley twist sides. Nice carved and pierced crest with finials. Older needlepoint upholstery. As mentioned, the finish is old, probably original, and in good shape for its age. One chair has a tiny chipped corner. The upholstery is an older needle point in pretty good shape. The upholstery on the backs of the chairs is coming loose (pic #2). Also, the webbing is breaking down on one chair, and t has been webbing added to strengthen the seat. These chairs never had springs, just webbing. I would highly suggest re-webbing the chairs if you are going to use everyday. They look great as they are, but I don't know how long the webbing will holdup without being replaced. These chairs never had caster wheels. The chairs display beautifully. Nice to have a pair. I should be able to ship these through Greyhound for between $95.00 and $145.00. You would have to pick-up at Greyhound. Email me with your city, state, and zip code for an exact quote. Each measure about 39" tall (to the top of the back), about 18" wide, and about 18" deep. BID WITH CONFIDENCE .
