I'll be honest and say right up front I have no idea what these were used for. They are about 6 feet long. The natural fiber rope is about 1" thick with a hardwood handle and a loop on the other end. Both the handle and loop are rebraided into the main rope. If they were used it was very lightly as they are in excellent condition. Put an original tow rope in the trunk of your Volvo. THE DETAILS (No, you don't have to read it all). GENERAL INFORMATION: Most items are shipped within 24 to 48 hours upon receipt of confirmed payment. All items are professionally packed in sound boxes with an internal water resistant liner with a packing slip. I ask that a winning bidder notify me within a few days of the auctions close as to expected time and method of payment. I never inflate my shipping and handling costs to increase my profit on an item. DOMESTIC WINNERS: I use USPS Priority Mail (unless it is a very heavy item). It is a bit pricier than 1 st Class or Parcel Post but gets the item to you within two or three days and saves me from having to "dumpster dive" for used supplies. I add a $1 to $2 handling fee to each order to help pay for the average 11.5 minutes it takes to process and package a shipment. Do the math... it is less than minimum wage. Shipping charges are fixed rate because most of my listings are one-of-a-kind. They are based on mid-country delivery charges. I win some and loose some on this and basically break even. Customs Offices around the world are overwhelmed with the volume of shipments (largely due to ebay sales) and many are not equipped with the technology (or work ethic) to deal with it. You bet it is. The few negative feedbacks on over 5000 ebay sales have been from folks who never responded to my offers to resolve their problem. FEEDBACK: Feedback is a very important tool both for buyers and sellers so I encourage winners to take the 60 seconds it takes to use it. Unlike most ebay sellers I do not "bribe" you for feedback by waiting for yours before leaving mine. Once your payment has cleared (in a timely manner) I consider your part of the transaction complete and will leave positive feedback.
