I am not an expert on Limoges or Haviland & Co. china, but I will do my best to describe these wonderful bowls. T are 2 bowls which are complimentary, but not exactly the same. One bowl features Iris and what looks like Poppy flowers. The other bowl has different flowers which I can't identify. They appear to be hand painted as evidenced by the two small spots of gold on the rim of one of the bowls - see pictures. The color is a wonderful gradated teal bisque finsih with the flowers outlined in metalic gold. The overall design is very Art Nouveau and my best guess is that these bowls date from that period. Each bowl measures 9" in diamter with a scalloped edge. The back of both bowls are marked: Haviland & Co. / Limoges / H & Co. over an L in green. I see no damage, chips, cracks or repairs on either bowl. They seem to be in excellent condition for what I believe are older pieces.
