Antique moccasins. I don't know a lot about them but will describe to the best of my knowledge. I do believe they are quite old. The bead work is wonderful. All done in red, white and blue. The outside is a solid white bead, 2 rows circling the outer front. Next is 2 smaller rows of clear beads circling inside the outer row. Next is a thick raised what appears to be a leaf done in red, white and blue. A small glass bead lies next to it. This is all done on a leather panel attached to the the moccasin. It has a red and blue cuff attached to a half cotton liner. The cuff is trimmed in purple. 2 rows of clear beads circle the cuff. They are in great condition but the thread is old. As you can see in the pictures the lining and cuff is not stitched down. You can see w it was stitched but has broken away. The beaded leather panels are also loose needing to be stitched back on.. T are a few minor wear spots on the outside cuff. They have had very little wear. The beads all appear to be intact. I don't know if these are Indian, possibly tourist. The bead work reminds me of the Victorian bead work pillows. The moccasins measure 6" long.
