Description of item for sale: This remarkable pair of decorative solid marble and bronze urns is from France. They date to the mid/late 1800's and would traditionally be found gracing a mantel. Everything is correct on these wonderful works of art. The finely made solid bronze fittings are in perfect condition showing a glorious patina. The beautiful rouge-colored marble is strongly accented on these elegantly shaped pieces. The marble shows no cracks or chips of any significance. Note the over-sized scale and substance of these pieces-large enough to make a statement in a room of any size. Dimensions: 24" high, 9" wide, and 6" deep. Weight: 36 lbs. per urn (72 lbs. total).
