For auction is a pair of nice porcelain candle sticks made by Bing & Grondahl handpainted with the seagull pattern. They have the gilt highlights on the beak and wing tips as well as the feet. The sticks have a seagulls in flight handpainted on one side. This pattern is really very nice and the relief scale design to the rim with the blue fading just makes for an elegant design all around. The two are in perfect condition and are marked underneath as shown in the pictures. First quality. Made in Denmark Kopenhagen just like the Royal Copenhagen factory. They are 1.75 inches tall and 4.375 inches in diameter. I have a lot of other pieces from this set if anyone is interested especially lots of odd serving peices, etc. A very nice piece that would make a great addition to any collection.
