Gotta be one of the cuter pairs of Antique Bookends I've seen in quite some time. The base is a heavy Metal, probably cast iron, and the Terrier dogs are a white metal. The little Frog appears to be bronze on each. The white paint surface is original, and they have old felt on the bases. I did not remove the felt to see if they were marked as to a maker. They're circa 1920s or tabouts, in great shape as you can see in photos, and just precious!! We have a cairn terrier, but he's red. If these were a red terrier they'd be staying with me.
