These area pair of late 19th/early 20th century porcelain tapir sticks in excellent condition. They are modeled in a traditional altar table shape with a small hole within the square top which is designed to hold the incense stick, (although they are currently perfect to be used as candle stick holders). The underglaze blue decoration is mostly geometric. The first picture captures the color best. The second is too bright. The pair measures 6 1/2" high.
The shipping price is quoted for domestic US sales. Foreign buyers will be contacted at the close of the auction with the cost of international shipping. The most cost effective choice will be quoted. Thank you for your continued excellent feedback. I aim to please.
