Pair of Chrome Brass Tables Hollywood Regency Eames Era

Up for bids is a pair of incredibly chic parsons style table in chrome and brass from the 1970's, very much in the style and high quality manufacture of Pierre Cardin, Willy Rizzo, Paul Evans, etc. These tables have a great scale to them, and would work really well either as lamp or end tables, or set up side by side as cocktail tables in front of a sofa. They are not signed, but were purchased at the trade only design center in New York for over a $1000 for the pair, according to the person from whom I purchased them. The quality on these is really exceptional. The metal work, joinery, thick chrome plating all reaks of high quality. These tables are also quite heavy. They are in great vintage condition, but could use a good polishing. T are a few minor signs of wear on the tables, but appear to have been well-kept. T is not pitting or rust of any kind, dents, heavy scratches, etc. I do have the 1/4" thick original glass, but it has a couple of chips, so I will not send with the tables. Expense will be cheaper to get new glass fabricated on your end. Also, two of the original pegs that hold the glass in place are missing on one of the tables- glass still sits recessed just fine, but these could be replaced if you so desired. All other pegs are accounted for. These tables would make a fabulous addition to any deco, Eames, or Hollywood Regency era inspired decor! Dimensions are: 23 1/2" Square x 20" H.
