Description of item for sale: These pretty ewers are genuine old bronze (not colored spelter, brass or other metal) finished with an interesting dark green wash. They're mounted on black marble bases. They are not marked in any way, but we purchased them in France and from the patina we estimate they're late 1800's/early 1900's. The green color shows more in the photos than in person-it's hard to tell if these are very dark green or black when you examine them in person. They're in excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs. T are a few places w the green has worn away from handling and the bronze shows through (see photos).
