This beautiful pair of Japanese Golden Era cloisonne vases are from the late 19th - early 20th century and stand 5 high. They are covered in a deep blue/purple overall enamel with detailed mums and asters in copper/brass wires. One vase has a pinpoint ding on the reverse that is almost impossible to see without magnification and does not detract from the overall appearance. The vases are unsigned. These were purchased years ago from Mainline Philadelphia estate sale.
