Up for bids we have a set of TWO 1960s JOHN F KENNEDY Inaugural Medals. They are encased in a lucite display case. One bronze, one silver...exactly the same except for that. They measure about 2 3/4" in diameter each and are dated January 20, 1961. Sculpture's name appears at the bottom of the bust on both coins...Paul Manship c. 1961. These are rather heavy as the whole piece weighs in at a pound and a half. I know I'm going to get questions regarding the silver medal and if it is .999 silver. I don't know. They are encased in this lucite display and I can't get them out to look at the sides and t was no paperwork with them. Perhaps you collectors will know from the photos! TERRIFIC and Rare pieces for your collection! We are neither collectors of nor experts in this field of collecting so please ask questions before bidding. This is an estate liquidation and we do not want to see these again!
