You are viewing a pair of very nice vintage windows which were removed from a Craftsman style home in Oakpark, Illinois. Oakpark is known for having some of the nicest Frank Lloyd Wright homes in the United States. Although these windows are not from a Frank Lloyd Wright home, they are from the same neighborhood and obviously inspired by his style. These windows are exactly as they were on the day they were removed, and have not been cleaned or altered in any way. The overall size of each window (Including the wooden frame) is approximately 29 1/4" high X 35 3/4" wide. The glass inside the frame measues approximately 25 3/8" wide X 32" high, but is probably slightly bigger because part of it is inside the frame. The frames appear to be fir or pine. The inside of each frame has the patina of aged, varnished wood. The outside of each frame contains old chipping, and peeling paint. I have taken photos of each side of the frames to show what they look like. One window has a small crack approximately 3/8" long and the other window has an "L" shaped crack with each leg of the "L" being approximately 2" long. I have taken close photos of both cracks.
