Vintage Pair of Swedish Neoclassical Art Deco Club Chairs I T E M - Pair of Arm Chairs O R I G I N - Sweden A G E - c. 1920's I T E M C O N D I T I O N - Very good to excellent. Restored and newly upholstered. D I M E N S I O N S - 26 3/4 w x 31 d x 32 1/2 h in. SD: 20 3/4 in. SH: 20 in. D E S C R I P T I O N - Lovely pair of Swedish Neoclassical Deco armchairs from c. 1920's Sweden. Crafted of carved dark flame birch and newly upholstered with luxurious taupe crushed linen velvet and trimmed with self double-welt. Hardwood frames, eight-way hand-tied springs ... these are the ultimate in vintage upholstered furniture! *Please note that the fabric is a crushed linen velvet and it does show crush marks. This is not a flaw, but part of the fabric. We love the look! Very tactile - it is both soft and durable. C O N D I T I O N - Because we are direct importers, we are able to bring you quality antiques and vintage items at the most reasonable prices possible. Please note, however, that antiques and vintage items are not new and will show varying degrees of age and wear (i.e. patina, nicks, dings, etc.) We do our best to describe each item in detail, but we often do not overstate obvious signs of normal age and wear that are innt in these items. Please contact us before bidding with any specific questions and we will be happy to answer. Please note that because we are dealing with antique and vintage pieces, t is a strong possibility that some of these pieces have been repaired in the past. We go over every piece very carefully and touch-up any problem areas, but if a repair was well-done, it is possible that it may not be detected. Wood pieces often experience some sort of cracking or warping due to changes in climate, hydration or dehydration. If they occur at all, they are usually minor stress cracks which are structurally insignificant and cosmetically appealing. Painted pieces will often show natural distressing from use and can often show a bit of age or separation as is normal in antique painted furniture. We will make every effort to point out and photograph extreme cases of distressing, chipped, worn or damaged finishes. Also, we have the ability to touch up any of these areas for you before we ship, should you wish. Please note that handcrafted items can vary slightly in size. We will make every effort to point out any significant variances to you. Dimensions are usually rounded to the nearest 1/4". S H I P P I N G - We offer shipping as a courtesy to our buyers and go to great lengths to insure that we ship your purchase in the safest and most cost effective way possible. You are also welcome to pick up your purchase from our warehouse in Atlanta or arrange your own shipping . Buyers are responsible for all packing and shipping costs. Depending on mode of delivery, shipping can take anyw from one to eight weeks after leaving our warehouse. Items being shipped to remote areas, far distances from us or outside of the US may take even longer. Shipping is FOB Atlanta unless otherwise stated. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for trucking routes or shipping delays after an item leaves our warehouse.
