The fee does not in any way offset the rising cost of listing, & commission fees, nor the PayPal transaction & commission fees Postage ins. ( and on some items signature conformation on EVERY eBay listing over $250.00). All of these are invisible to the buyer , but take a very substantial bite out of our modest profits.Our shipping fees are up-front and transparent, & if you wait for our invoice there could even be a reduction in postage. I try to offer more than one method where possible, If you have a preference email. So The shipping/handling fee now includes insurance. International Bidders: Custom Forms must declare the exact value of the contents, (excluding shipping.) We are not allowed to label your purchase as a "gift". IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION: Due to multiple problems with international shipping, with customs, and also with some foreign buyers, we regret that we will now use ONLY Express Mail International to ship fragile or valuable items . Express Mail & first class Mail are the only service that offers FULL TRACKING all the way to the buyer's address . First Class without Reg. has no tracking once it leaves the U.S.; Priority Mail tracks only to the country , not to the addressee. PayPal does not consider this sufficient to prove an item was received, and they hold the seller fully responsible. Even if insured, we are not reimbursed for shipping charges, and we have lost far too much money when buyers have not received their items. Items can be delayed for weeks in customs, over which we have no control. The buyer meanwhile gets a full refund, and if and when the item finally arrives, we are never notified.
