Lovely scroll arm wrought iron (or metal of some kind) benches (TWO IN THIS AUCTION) FEATURED ON THE COVER OF HOME & GARDEN MAGAZINE (These have a large scale matching benches in another auction) and in really good condition for their vintage mid century age, showing signs of wear commensurate with age and the very beginnings of rust so they should be painted with a Rustoleum paint. Neither have the upholstered seats, by the way, but these are very easy to replace either with custom cushions or more economically with cushions from a home store like Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware. I would give them fabulous new fabric seats like a heavy, jewel colored linen in tangerine, a stripe or an aqua - but that's just me. Both retain their rubber feet . Easy peasy to replace. Will blend beautifully in any smart decor filled with anything from modern pieces, Hollywood Regency glam, traditional, antiques or Palm Springs style modern, and can be used in a foyer, a hallway, veranda, at the foot of a bed, flanking a hall chest, or as seating in the garden...so many ways to show these off!
