A pair of elegant Art Deco solid silver pepperettes, hallmarked for Chester 1916, in their original box from Rowell & Son Ltd. of High Street, Oxford. Height 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm). Weight 50.1 grams (the pair). The condition is very good with just one very small dent in the top of one and a tiny dent in the foot of the other which do not detract from the overall beauty of the pair. The top fits snugly on each pepperette. The box is in remarkably good condition for its age, lightly scuffed with no other damage. Altogether, complete in their box, they would make a beautiful gift.
