A Pair Of Victorian CROWN PATENT Writing Slope Inkwells. Brass Screw Tops For auction is a pair of antique Victorian Crown Patent writing slope inkwells with brass screw tops embossed with the famous royal crown. These wells - a collector's item - are offered in good antique condition for over 100 years old with signs of wear & tear commensurate with age. There is some very minor frittering to the glass on the shoulders. The screw threads are not crossed and the lids open & close fine without sticking. They have been used and I have not cleaned them. They are 1 3/4" square by 1 1/2" high and will fit most writing slopes comfortably. The total weight is 183 grammes. Postage in the UK will be £3.50 recorded delivery.
