Male and female figures in draped robe and period clothing are hand carved of oak with special attention to details. As shown in photos, the male has loss ofwood surrounding the figure while the female has very little loss. They are 16" tall and approx. 2.75" wide. T were attached to a piece of furniture such as a buffet, bed, mirror or perhaps a fireplace mantle. They could be used as architecural artifacts or incorporated into a piece of furniture. ..........Shipping and insurance to anyw in cont. U.S. is 12.00......Not sure of maker, may be OTIS or another manufacturer but it is certainly an outstanding elevator floor indicator. Dial is cast iron with bronze numerals and arrow. Ornamental iron work decorates the center of the dial which is very unusual and measures approx. 15" in diameter. Originates from a 1920's building in New York which had thirtten floors and included the numeral 13. The fabulous arrow lifts out and be bolted in place with a shorter bolt if so desired. The dial is RARE and would be a prize for any collector.......shipping and insurance to anyw in cont.
