VINTAGE 1940 s PAIR OF ART DECO "PERCHED COCKATIELS"SIGNED WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS IN ORIGINAL WOOD FRAMES A Pair of Vintage 1940s Art Deco "Perched Cockatiels" Watercolor Paintings framed behind glass in matching period painted inset wood frames and signed in red by the artist. The watercolor paintings were painted in a classic Art Deco style using bright colors over a black background, which gives the paintings a three-dimensional effect and makes the colors really stand out. Both paintings feature the colorful birds perched on a tree branch surrounded by flowers. Side by side, the beautiful birds appear to be looking lovingly at each other. In excellent overall condition, each painting measures 13 inches long x 11 inches wide in frame.
