This auction is for an incredible PAIR of vintage Deco movie theatre wall sconce light fixtures. Very few of this style of theatre light survived the years as they are a bit on the fraglie side. These are made from stamped copper and aluminum. The dark leaves and accents are copper and the remainder of the fixtures are of stamped aluminum. The whole idea of these fixtures is to look like a plant in a flower pot. These beautiful fixtures are large measuring approx. 24 1/2 inches tall, 19 1/2 inches from side to side and these come out from the wall10 inches. They were designed so that the light bulbs were hidden in the "flowerpot" area on the bottom and then the glow from the bulbs would shine up on the copper leaves. The original wiring is still in place which includes 3 electrical sockets in each fixture. This original wiring should be replaced before use. These are wall mount fixtures and t is a hole in the flowerpot area to mount to a junction box and t is a hole in the silver center trim in the top w the top of the fixture was attached to the wall for support. This top support was a star type of fastner like you would see on a mirror. These star fastners are still available at Lowes & Home Depot.Both fixtures are in good overall condition.
