Art Nouveau/Vintage Shabby Painted White Cherub Lamps--So Chic!
These are a stunning pair of metal cherub lamps, dating, I'd guess, to the first half of the 20th century.They look to be in the Art Nouveau style. They are in perfect shabby chic condition: a spattering of missing creamy white paint, with the metal showing underneath. The measure approximately 13 inches tall. I plugged them in, and they work perfectly. I especially love the bases, with charming beading and scrollwork. And the cherubs are perfectly charming. The creamy white is wonderful. Now, if you look at the third picture, you'll see one problem: one section of the metal scrollwork (on the back), is missing. Since the missing piece is on the back, it hardly distracts from the piece. These are great vintage pieces: perfectly Romantic and Shabby Chic. They would make a decorative statement in your room.
