Up for auction are a pair of hard to find 10" diameter FIESTA WARE dishes from the HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA COMPANY (HLCO) in the original Cobalt Blue, which was produced from 1936 to 1951. Research indicates it is not uncommon for these plates to be unmarked and that the lack of marking my indicate these plates are from a transition in manufacturing processes.These plates have some surface scratches consistent with their age. � One of them has a slight chip (about 3/16") on the bottom. � Both have some whitish marks on the bottom which we think may be part of the manufacturing process.
