This is a wonderful PAIR of vintage 20th century European framed Architectural/Ruin Landscapes...Hard to find pair of paintings, great size and colors with a classic Old World feel, very decorative, would be great flanking a large mirror, or just sitting on a mantle... Made in Italy, this is a companion pair of paintings, framed identically, each with a Made in Italy tag/label on the back... We are dating these to the post war era, so perhaps late 1940-50's period... Each frame measures approximately 23 1/2" by 35 1/2", each oil on canvas painting is about 19" by 31"... Condition is good with wear expected and commensurate with vintage pieces... These painting have an overall, distressed and time worn look to them... The frames are in good condition with a nice worn/aged patina.. The paintings are in good condition, there are many areas of crackling and paint loss, but overall the paintings are stable and have a great patina and look to them...
