ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS Pair of vintage Mantel Lamps. Carved wood with gesso and gold leaf. Mica Shades which create the most beautiful warm glow when lit. Original and in tact. Shades have very slight flaking of mica which is typical for the age and there is some minor chipping along the bottom which disappears when the lamps are assembled. Shades are solid and sturdy. The over paint and gold leaf is time worn, revealing a rich terracotta colored wood in various places on each lamp. This enhances the appearance of the lamps. Pull chains work smoothly. The cords are fully functional - but I recommend replacing because they are quite old. One cord is short and the other is longer. If you are looking for lighting that is original and unique, these are the lamps for you.Base 6" diameter. Height 21" Excellent vintage condition!
