Here are two nice heavy, "must have been used in a diner" coffee mugs by the McNicol China company, manufactured in Clarksburg, West Virginia. They both have the same E24 date code, which apparently no one has been able to decipher. These mugs do have some evidence of usage and there are dark spots where the glaze didn't fully cover the surfaces. These mugs were likely mass produced, without a lot of thought given to high standards of quality, so the blemishes are almost normal in a way. They stand 3.5" tall, have a rim dimeter of about 3" and hold a perfect number of ounces for that great cup of diner coffee we've all had. They are heavy - each weighing over 18 ounces. Please examine photos regarding overall condition. They have no cracks or chips, just the "pock" marks as shown in the photos. I'm not an antiques dealer or glass expert by any means, just someone who buys interesting pieces at estate sales and auctions and tries to make a small living here on eBay. Thanks for looking and please email me with any questions or requests for additional photos. Note: Due to some recent problems with international shipping, I am only shipping to US Domestic buyers at the present time.
