Pair Vintage Tropical Brass Lamps

This is a spectacular pair of solid brass tropical lamps which are very unusual. They measure 23 inches high. The upright bird is 14 inches wide and the bending bird is 13 wide. The black bases are 9x6. The marks on the bases are demonstrated in the photos. T is some greening of the brass, especially on the claw of the upright one. Although, one of the birds is missing screws and a bracket which attaches to the rod holding the bulbs, this does not effect the balance of the piece and can be easily repaired. The upright bird's electricity works on both sides. When I tried the other, only a flicker occurred on 1 side. Probably a minor adjustment to the wiring will repair that. Returns will only be accepted if we have misrepresented the condition of the item . Shipping will be priority mail with delivery confirmation. Insurance is not required but is strongly encouraged as I am not responsible for lost packages. If you live outside of the U.S. you must contact me for a shipping quote prior to placing a bid. Payment is due within 24 hours of auction close. If you plan to pay with a money order or cashier's check you must e-mail me at auction close to immediately inform me of your plan to do so. Payment must be in my hands within 5 days of auction close or I reserve the right to move to the next bidder or cancel the auction due to lack of payment. Exceptions to this policy will be discussed on an individual basis.
