A pair of 300W PA speakers manufactured by the renowned Watkins Electronic Music in the 1980s. [I bought them from Charlie Watkins - of Copicat fame - himself.See http://www./history.htm]. They have been gigged over a long period, but only 'gently' - I work in the keyboard entertainment/sophisticated cabaret market, so they have not been harshly treated. Nevertheless, they are superficially tatty and the cosmetic appearance could probably be improved with a bit of TLC. The backs have a wood triangle fixed on a hinge so that the speakers can be used from the floor and angled as fold back if required. These are easily removable if not required. Both cabinets have pole sockets [top hats] which fit the substantial steel stands which I have included in the sale. The stands are adjustable and the maximum height to the bottom of the speakers is approximately 1.65m. Each cabinet contains a 12" driver plus a horn which give a good dynamic range for most purposes - certainly more than adequate for contemporary electronic music. I used them mostly for voice and electronic piano, two of the most difficult signals to EQ satisfactorily, and never received a complaint about sound quality [only the performance, but you can't win 'em all!].
