DescriptionRare Pair of 19th Century William Mary style wing chairs and matching ottomans would be a great addition to your home. This pair of wing chairs was consigned by a client whos great Grandparents had them made in the late 19th Century there in Phillydelphia. The design of these chairs are very unique. William Mary in the style, these chairs have a interesting added addition that is that the armrests flip up. This makes me think this was done so women in large dresses could easily sit down. This pair of wing chairs do have matching ottomans in which have adjustable settings. The color of the fabric on both chairs is a light yellow. These chairs measure 41" in height, 30" in width, 18" in depth at the chair seat, 19" in height at the seat, each. Condition Overall condition of this pair of chairs is, excellent used. Both chairs have a total of 6 spots of light discoloration in which one is darker. I think that the chairs would really clean up nicely with the help of a professional cleaner. I would do it myself, but better left to a professional. The frames of the chairs are tight and sturdy. Nice patina of finish to both chair bases. The ottomans are in excellent condition and we believe that they were used very little just for the fact that the fabric is in great condition. Shipping Shipping and insurance will be included within the Continental US via Greyhound. This will include delivery to your home if Greyhound contracts with a delivery service in your area. If not, the buyer will have to pickup the chairs at the terminal. Thank you for viewing - Good Luck In 2011!
