UP FOR BID IS THIS GREAT: Profusely illustrated in black-and-white, this rare out-of-print book provides a pictorial survey of Pairpoint lamps. Written by a foremost authority on the subject, this book is a collectorâe(tm)s item in itself. PAIRPOINT LAMPS - A COLLECTORS GUIDE by Louis O. St. Aubin, Jr., Pinetree Press, 1974. âeoeAll of the 139 lamps illustrated are from original catalog sheets. Every lamp shown can be documented as to have been produced at the Pairpoint factory. All of the measurements given are the original specifications. The base finishes, shade shape names, and shade decoration names are original. I have used those names, most commonly referred to, w no original name exists. For purposes of clarification, this guide is divided into sections. This is not necessarily the chronological order in which they were produced.âe This book covers by chapter: Blowouts; Floral Shades with Glass Bases; Metal and Glass Shades; Cut Glass Lamps; Floral Shades; The Unusuals; The Scenics-Early Period; and The Scenics.
