A Little about us... Ralphie Rose Antiques is a Private Collection of beautiful Antiques acquired by my parents over the last 40 years. I will be listing Cut Glass, Copenhagen , Bisque, Hummels, Royal Vienna, and many other rare, unusual, and high quality antiques! Check back often to see what's new! T will be other items listed as well, including Newer Porcelain Dolls, Coins, Antique Jewelry, and Newer Collectibles. The name of our store, came from Green Acres, as my father always called my mother Ralphie, based on the "fix-it" couple from the show. She was always along side him, helping him with any type of fix-it job he had to do. The majority of the antiques in this collection were purchased from my uncle who was a reputable Antique Dealer, known as Mar-don Antiques, in Chicago , IL , who in the latter years of his life, joined another brother, and moved his store to Dania , FL , still under the name of Mar-Don Antiques. My father, who was a Coin Dealer for over 40 years, has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and we have moved them into a retirement home. Downsizing them from a 5 bedroom home to a 2 bedroom apartment, did not allow them to keep many of their fine antiques. Tfore, we have elected to sell them via Ebay. Every item will be accurately described, and priced based on their purchase price 30-40 years ago. You may also view my feedback rating as a seller and buyer on Ebay under moonlightandroses02 with a 99.6% feedback score based on over 1000 comments. Item Description... You are bidding on an American Brilliant Cut Glass Lidded Candy Dish. This piece was cut by Pairpoint Corporation.and is engraved in the " Garland " pattern design. Pairpoint and Mt Washington were a very large and important cutting firm of the Brilliant Period. It is absolutely brilliant, with the engraving being polished and not left in the matter finish. T are no nicks, scratches, or cracks. It is in excellent condition! This is a Beautiful piece, and would make a great assest to any Cut Glass Collection! It is dated between 1890-1910.
