Offered for your bidding pleasure is a signed on the bottom of the base vintage Pairpoint Reverse Painted Lamp Base. T is no shade. The base is 23" tall and 7" across at the base and probably supported a 16" to 18" glass reverse painted shade. It is clearly marked on the bottom with the classic P and the word PAIRPOINT. As with many Pairpoint bases, this is not very heavy like the cast iron Pittsburgh bases and I am not sure of the composition of the metal but I would guess lacquered brass plated. One sticker on the bottom states "Lacquered, clean with damp cloth". The base is in excellent condition and has no damage, dents or problems. One socket is original with the ball pull chain and the other is an older socket replaced long ago, but not by me. The old cloth wrapped cord is still t with no visible damage and with the wire nuts t, someone replaced what ever was on it once. As with all real auctions, this item is sold as is but is guaranteed to be authentic vintage circa 1920's Pairpoint. I do not accept PAYPAL irrespective if it shows up in the listing somew Check must clear and money orders ship the next day. I don't charge for packing or boo hoo about gas expense to take it to the USPS or UPS store. You pay the actual cost of shipping, estimated at $18.00. Thanks for looking at this fine item offered at no reserve with no returns (I am swimming in lamps, they have to go).
