is a BRASS CUFF BRACELET BY SCULPTOR PAL KEPENYES. Stamped PAL KEPENYES MEXICO on the inside of the cuff, this brass beauty is a piece of art history. I interpret the brass design to be people entwined together around a turquoise-looking stone. It has a hammered, hand-crafted look. The brass on the inside back of the "face" of the piece has some places w the brass is no longer shiny. The stone moves a bit in the setting, but is in not danger of coming out, due to the construction of the brass overlapping the stone. As you can see from the pictures, the cuff opens and closes. From some internet research, I estimate this piece to have been sculpted in the 1960s. Pal Kepenyes was born in Hungary and has displayed his sculpture throughout the world. His home in Acupulco is open to tourists to enjoy. A piece of art history!
